如果已经取得了美国纽约bar、加州bar，或已经是中国内地律师、澳洲律师、新加坡律师希望在香港执业，都有什么方式呢？ 一、注册外国律师（Registered Foreign Lawyers） 注册外国律师Registered Foreign Lawyers（RFL），这是在香港不少外国律所里律师的职称，这也是香港法律协会（Law Society）所特有的。那么，是哪些人会被冠以这一职称，以及为什么他们要用这个职称呢？ 根据香港法例，任何在香港提供法律服务的个人，如果不是香港qualified的事务律师（Solicitor）或大律师（Barrister），都必须在香港律师协会注册为外国律师。RFL只能practise其取得资格所在地的法律或第三地法，而不能practise香港法律，但可以被律所聘请为外国法律顾问（但在该律所里RFL的数量不能超过香港律师）。 要在香港成为RFl，如果在取得资格后全职执业不满2年，则需要由香港律所或外国律所想香港律师协会提交supervision proposal才能申请。 二、海外律师（Overseas Lawyer）海外律师（OL）是在海外取得律师执业资格后，被香港法律协会admit为香港律师。成为OL分为两种途径，一是对于取得普通法（common law）职业资格的，另一个是对于非普通法（non-common law）律师。下图是香港法律协会对普通法域与非普通法域界定的清单。 对于取得普通法律师资格的律师，在执业2年后，可以参加香港的Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination，通过该考试并满足一定居留时间后，就可申请admit为香港事务律师。对于取得非普通法律师资格的律师，需要有5年的执业经验才能报名参加OLQE，通过该考试并满足一定居留时间后，可申请admit为香港事务律师。 以下是香港法律协会官网成为OL的要求与流程。

2017年7月的加州bar结果在去年11月17日公布，49.6%的考生通过了这项考试，比起2016年7月bar考试43.07%的通过率有显著提高。其中，首考通过率达到了62%，而2016年加州bar的首考通过率只有56%。整体而言，加州bar的通过率有了些许提高，这或许使得其吸引力对国际学生会逐渐提高，相信在未来也会和NY bar的吸引力差距逐渐缩小。 通过ABA认证的加州法学院考生首次通过率是70％，而来自ABA认证的加州外法学院首次参加考试的考生则以67％的比例通过考试 。那么，哪些州外大学在加州 bar考试中表现最好，哪些州外大学表现最差呢？像往常一样，California State Bar只统计了参考学生超过11位的法学院的信息。在这份榜单上，T14法学院表现极其抢眼。值得一提的是圣母大学在这个排名上超过了半数的T14法学院，可以看出其学生实力也非同一般。令人惊讶的是，T14院校中康村居然出现在这个榜单上。而其他知名法学院如Emory，WUSTL等也出现在了这一最差通过率排名上，可以说是让人大跌眼镜了。
